New Sagrera Station: Construction of Barcelona’s biggest station (high-speed, commuter rail, subway and buses)

Duration:
Number of participants:
Departures: Thursday 8 June

With an investment of almost 1,000 million euros, La Sagrera will be Barcelona’s major station when it is operational from 2025. This technical visit will allow you to learn about the execution of a major infrastructure project and how its impact on the commuter railway network is managed.
It is expected that 50 million travellers will pass through Sagrera annually, becoming a large intermodal centre, which will connect high-speed railway, suburban railway, metro and buses. Another of the highlights of this new station is its fit with the surrounding neighbourhoods and the opportunity for the city of Barcelona to gain a new large green space for public use.
