Oliver Wolff is the General Managing Director of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV). Since 2011 Oliver Wolff has headed the VDV, which has several subsidiaries. After training in administration and the final state examination in law he was administrator of Rheinisch-Bergisch District and manager of its Business Development Agency. As departmental head he was responsible for air traffic, railway, shipping, public transport and fundamental mobility issues in the NRW Ministry for Transport. He was long vice president in the German Tourism Association and since 2017 he has been vice president of the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER).
