Pedram Saeidizand works for UITP as Statistics Manager for around 5 years. He works on different projects dealing with data collection and analysis. He also supports some advocacy activities at UITP. Pedram has more than 12 years of experience of working in the field of transportation. He has a Masters degree in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University of Rotterdam.

Global Bus SurveyIn this presentation, the main results of a world-wide survey on more than 320 bus operators in 46 countries, are offered. The data was collected on a number of operational indicators, most of them on bus fleet. The results indicate a variety of situations on how bus services are operated in different countries.

e-Bus data: An overview of the market uptake in the last yearsE-buses are getting more popular around the world. Number of e-buses ordered in Europe per year grew by 55 times from 2010 to 2018. More than 380,000 e-buses are in service in China. In general, many cities are trying to replace their conventional buses with e-buses and some of them have already taken notable steps in this regard.
