Christophe Martin has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ULg, Belgium.

After 5 years as a research assistant, he joined in 2004 the Public Transport Company of Wallonia (TEC), which is operating 1.700 buses and 44 trams.

He is now responsible for the Purchase of Buses and other related Consumable Products, and for the setup of Bus Maintenance Processes.

Since 2013, he has also been a Member of UITP Bus Committee, on behalf of which he is leading the “SORT” (“Standardized On Road Test cycles”) Working Group, dedicated to the Measurement of Energy Consumption for Buses.

Christophe is particularly interested in Energy Saving, Continuous Improvement, Alternative Propulsion Technologies, Cost Reduction and Standardization.
