Paula Leopoldino is Manager of Urban Mobility at Rio Ônibus – Association of Bus Companies of the City of Rio de Janeiro. She is a civil engineer graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a Master’s in Transportation Engineering from Coppe/UFRJ. Paula has been at Rio Ônibus since 2012, where she participated in designing and implementing the BRT corridors and several new bus lanes as well as contributing with the planning of the transportation system for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. She also helped in reshaping the bus system of the south zone of Rio de Janeiro and the transportation plan for large events, such as the 2014 World Cup, the 28th World Youth Catholic Day and Rock in Rio. Paula worked at Fetranspor – Federation of Passenger Transportation Companies of the City of Rio de Janeiro – from 2008 until 2012, where she participated in implementing the intercity and municipal single ticket.
