Valentina LEONCHIK is a professional Belorussian transport economist and transport-planning expert.
Valentina knows transport sector from ground to top, as she started her career as field transport economist planning the depot work processes. Later she was teaching, what brought her as an expert and advisor to Belorussian Parliament. Her competence covers the questions of industry, fuel and energy complex, transport, communications and entrepreneurship. Currently Valentina is deputy chairman of Belorussian Union of Transport Workers.
She was heading the projects in the sphere of public transport and sustainable mobility on harmonization of the legislation of Belarus and the EU in the field of passenger transportation; on communication and cooperation for sustainable regional development with elaboration livable city concept for the city of Novopolotsk; mobility plans principles elaboration for the cities in Belorussia and many other.
