Is art giving more visibility to public transport in Strasbourg?

Summary of the speech for Summit website (max. 900 characters incl. spaces)

Is art, for you, something that can be found in museums, in concert halls and sometimes on the streets ? Let us show you how art can be a great way to promote public transport and motivate more people to use public transport. The city of Strasbourg realized serious transformation of their public transportation offer in the 1990s, and art was it’s perfect companion. We brought color, music, sculptures and poems to trams and buses, we wanted to give a story to commuting. Art was a perfect way to bring up the interest for public transport among passengers, to bring up their spirit of travellers.
