- June 10: Delivering large projects: from planning to rolling stock renewal
O&M-ready BIM, data-driven engineering on Eole project in ParisEole is a 100km long railway project mixing high-capacity urban sections and suburban sections. SYSTRA, in its role of assistant to the owner SNCF Réseau, is in charge of defining BIM methodology and requirements for the entire project. The objective is twofold, deploy BIM at the service of design and construction until digital as-built records and build O&M-ready models at the service of future operators. The presentation aims at describing the challenges of BIM on Eole and the methodologies built on the project. As a conclusion, lessons learnt for future data-driven engineering projects will be shared, as well as ideas to go further.
