Anne Hornung-Soukup grew up outside of Chicago, then studied in South Africa, Massachusetts, Washington D.C. and Paris before settling in Geneva.

She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Smith College and an M.A. in International Business Strategy and Communications from American University in Washington D.C. She is a dual national, Swiss-American.

In 2016, she was appointed Chair of the Board of tpg (Transports publics genevois) by the Conseil d’Etat of the canton of Geneva. Before then she had spent her career in private banking, and had presided or been on the board of many Geneva and international associations, including a non-profit organization and a hedge fund.

In December 2017 she retired from finance to consecrate time to the exciting projects of the tpg and, hopefully, to other favorite activities like music, genealogy and travel.
