Rebecca has worked in social policy for over 20 years. She is driven by a passion for social inclusion and the role that transport can play in enabling access to opportunity.  

As Assistant Director at Urban Transport Group, Rebecca works to represent the interests of the UK’s largest urban transport authorities, making the case for the right policies, powers and funding to support inclusive and sustainable transport networks.

She is the author of a number of publications including ‘Transport and Social Inclusion: Have we made the connections in our cities?’; ‘The Good Life: The role of transport in shaping a new and sustainable era for suburbs’; and ‘The cross-sector benefits of backing the bus’.
