Since June 2017 Mr Ehlgötz is Managing Director of the TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe GmbH. He is in charge of
the region’s economic and strategic development. He is also responsible for strategic cooperation with partners in the fields of R&D, business, education, culture, politics and administration at regional level as well as across Europe. From 2006 to 2017 he was Head of the Office for External Relations of the City of Karlsruhe and consults with the Lord Mayor on issues related to the city’s international affairs and its strategic positioning.
