Samuel Chng is a Research Fellow in the Chen Tianqiao Programme on Urban Innovation at the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He is an applied social psychologist and behavioural scientist with a research interest in changing behaviours and developing evidence-based sociocognitive frameworks to explain behavioural phenomenons to guide intervention developments. He uses a multidisciplinary (e.g., psychology, behavioural economics and geography) and mixed-methods approach in his applied work. Currently, his work focuses on behaviour change in the intersection of transport, technology and sustainability.
