One month to go until we meet in Stockholm!

So what news do we have for you as we enter the final 30 days?…

With world-renowned artist, author and animator Christoph Neimann due to bring out the mobility artist in all of us during his keynote speech, UITP will kick off events in our opening ceremony.

Not to be missed are two very special Plenary Sessions on the future of urban mobility.

“Redefining Public Transport” (Tuesday 10th June, 4pm-6pm) will bring Violeta Bulc, European Commissioner for Transport and CEOs and senior figures from Arriva, RATP, Moovel, Siemens, Uber and RTA to the stage.

Our unique series of mini-documentaries with BBC StoryWorks will be broadcast and discussed here and also showcased during several special occasions across four days.

And our Plenary Session on Urban Transport Policies for More Liveable and Competitive Cities
with CEOs from Go-Ahead, Scania, Ruter, Singapore Land Transport Authority together with the princpial advisor for Mission 2020 is not to be missed.

All of our outstanding content will be promoted through our exclusive agreement with world-leading mobility magazine Cities Today to bring three special editions of our Summit Daily News to our audience.

“The final preparations are taking place for the next UITP Global Summit, and the dedicated team behind the event are getting ready for the biggest edition yet. As UITP’s President, I’m excited to see what the 2019 edition will offer to the thousands of delegates, exhibitors and visitors who will join us in the Swedish capital. As a city renowned for their leading views on urban mobility, I’m looking forward to welcoming you for four days of detailed discussion on the road ahead for the sector. See you in June!”
